Beginning Adult Sewing and Adult Sewing

Learn how to use a sewing machine, and how to make an apron, clothing and more during the Ludington Area Center for the Arts’ newest class ‘Beginning Adult Sewing’ with Deb Borema.
All around crafting genius and leader of LACA’s Workshop Wednesday group, Deb Borema will guide class participants through the basic steps of using a sewing machine while creating a number of projects along the way.
The sewing class will be offered Sunday, Nov. 7 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. in LACA’s second story craft room.. Cost of the class is $20 for LACA members and $25 for non-members. All materials and sewing machines are included in the registration fee. Students who would like to bring their own sewing machines are encouraged to do so.
All registration fees for the class will benefit the Workshop Wednesday program. Workshop Wednesday is a free crafting class offered to children ages 6 and up, Wednesdays during the school year from 3:30-5 p.m., upstairs in the LACA Craft Room.
